conventions of front cover :

• The first element took into consideration was the masthead of the front cover , the reason being is due to it being what the people see when it is on the shelf, this means it needs to be eye catching which is what i have tries to achieve with a large text size and different font as shown in the picture above.
• Another important section of the front cover is the picture of the star . i have purposely placed it so that the masthead touches the stars head showing who it covers this week / month.
• The features are places down the left hand side under the star yet again touching showing it is related to Dr who and are also in the same colour as the masthead but also in black and yellow to make the three colour colour scheme
• The last thing i did was the strap which is at the bottom of the article which had a feature on it , the strap was also the same colour as the masthead with the feature in black to stand out. also the bar code was place on the right hand side of the strap.
